Will too much information from parent about son seem biased or is this helpful for the diagnosis? How much is too much?
(son is already diagnosed with pdd-nos, but I feel he is older now and clearly meets criteria for Aspergers).
thx.
im 28 now, and undiagnosed. and struggling hard with how to "introduce" my clear suspicions to my family. nobody noticed anything abnormal w me, despite the symptoms i realize ive had my whole life
now i fear they will - since theyre used to me as i am - insist i am normal, and keep pushing for me to "snap out", get a wife, car and a job.
the only ones ive suggested it to is my aunt, who read up on it, and found it to fit perfectly.. and my social worker, whom i havent heard from yet.
as a son, who'd need some parental support, i'd advice you to give all the information you can. that's what parents are for ;]
