I've had a really hard few days. Little things always set me off, and the internet being down for a day made things especially difficult the other day. Then the power kept going on and off making things stressful. I've been panicked, depressed, and probably on a downswing. Along the same lines, I seem to be misunderstanding everything, probably because of my Asperger's, and like usual, people have to explain situations and conversations to me calmly, and in a comforting way so that I understand them. I hate myself, and I hate my disorders, and I need support. I called my doctor, but I really need a friend :(

I'd like to offer advice but it sounds like it's primarily a med issue. Can you get in to see a psychiatrist soon?

I agree with John_Browning about trying to see your psychiatrist quickly. And if you are having strong suicidal feelings/thoughts while waiting for your psychiatrist appointment, just go to the ER! Don't think you have to wait! Unfortunately, bipolar disorder is really only managable by medication, and it can be notoriously difficult to find the right "cocktail" of medications that work for your individual brain biochemistry. Have you been taking your medication(s) regularly, as directed? If not, definitely talk soon to your psychiatrist about finding a medication regimen that works for you. I know relying on meds isn't pleasant, but they'll help you feel better in the long run, and that's what's important. Try to hang in there the best you can, and if things start getting really bad, call for help right away. While I don't have bipolar disorder, I have struggled many times and have had many low points from my AS and OCD, so I know how hard it is. We just have to try to get through life the best we can. The important thing is to not let the disorder keep you from doing the things in life that you want to achieve and enjoy! ^_^

I've actually called my doctor, and he said to wait it out. I am on meds, and have been fine for some time. This is just a random down-swing, I guess.
