Visually limited?

I just noticed something when I was driving. I never turn my head to look to the sides. I only use my eyes but not my whole neck and face. Turning my neck and looking around is something I usually never do. I always look straight, or slightly turn my face. When I step into a room usually whats in my view straight ahead is given attention and not much else. I have difficulty grasping the space around me, and I find it hard to take in what's to my sides and further away. Anyone know what this could be? An NLD, ASD trait perhaps?

Hm. I don't turn my head much either, but I don't have to. I have very good peripheral vision.

It gets annoying sometimes. Like if you're sitting on the couch watching a movie, yet you can see every little movement the person sitting next to you makes, for example.
