OK, I was wondering if anyone else is like this. If I'm imagining a scene, if someone is walking they might knock over a glass of wine without me making that conscious decision, and then I think, "That wasn't supposed to happen!" but I can't imagine the stain out of the scene, so I have to mentally clean up the wine stain else it won't go away. That's a bad example, but I know what I mean, LOL.

Not sure if I know what you mean, but meh.
Random events don't occur in my head when I'm imagining an event but I do keep track of things so I would clean the stain up as opposed to ignoring it.
Yeah, I think I've not comprehended the post correctly xD.

I know what you mean, I do this too, lol.
I can't quite think of an example, maybe if someone is getting dressed and they put the wrong leg in the trouser pants. I can't just erase that image and start again. The person will have to remove the leg and put it through the right trouser leg.

I guess it happens to me in a broader sense of "what's going to happen", not just with laws of physics and not just with imagination. Half-conscious dreams (eg when you are waking up a lot during the night or just about to wake up) - may wake up cross because the person in my dream was supposed to run to the end of the street to make some discovery, for example, only they tripped up because they were running so fast and got distracted by their grazed knee and forgot about going to the end of the street and never made the discovery. And that kinda spoils the dream and it's weird. Happens consciously too, like with things I look at or think about, only I can't quite think of an example...

-headscratch-

Maybe that's not what you meant.

Yeah, you explained it better than I did.

I view things a bit differenetly than most others. I see things in threads of choices and the resultant consquences, so when something I want to remove is there, I remove the choice that caused it. This has made me fairly good at playing out scenarios in my mind. Also, when I am dreaming, as soon as I realise I am dreaming, I loose all control of myself in the dream except the ability to wake up. If something I don't like plays out, I change it and prevent it from playing out, rather than dealing with it directly. Sometimes though, I will deal with the mishap in my imagination, just to see what other choices that opens up.
