Hi everyone, please visit my blog and leave comments

http://aspiemedic.blogspot.com/

Due to a busy schedule etc... I'm probably not gonna start it proper for a while but at least now I know people know of its existence.

:D HELLO, I just accessed your blog and tried to sign in and leave a comment but couldn't

So just wanted you to know that I am VERY excited that you as an aspie AND Medical student have chosen to blog. We need medics happy to own up that they are on the spectrum!! Well done and congratulations. I think you have plenty of company!! I am a nurse (diagnosed on the spectrum as an adult, with 5 diagnosed children too!), trained dinosaur years ago at a London Teaching Hospital, I have a fascination with neuroscience and feel that this area is being bypassed largely. Seems to me that you are either: Education, Social Science, Health or ????? whatever. But the educationalists don't tie in the medicine and the medicine doesn't liase with the education!! Grrrrrr!

My perspective is looking at all the areas of research and trying to form a bigger, more complete picture. Many of the doctors I have come across are I am 99.999999% positive are aspies themselves!! Why? Because not only have I met them personally and locked horns BUT also what are the fundamental requirements to start the process of becoming a medical doctor? Science and Maths!! Science and Maths = systems??? Systems = ?Aspies??

So it is great to meet you and I hope I can get on and be a follower on your blog, us spectrum medics have to stick together!! Maybe we can teach those who can't yet quite see who they are deep down! Think some of them would be surprised!! Takes one to know one
