The number 23 became my lucky number when I was in third grade and I won the biggest cake at the cake walk while standing on the square numbered 23. The most special things would happen to me, surrounding the number 23.
So, I started to use it in passwords, etc. and all my special things. But on Monday, the 23rd, my cat died. I feel like fate is laughing at me. It's almost as if something sacred to me became demonic and cruel.
I mean, 23 was my lucky number for 32 years.
I think 8 will have to be my new lucky number. There are two 8's in my address and I like my apartment. It's also a symbol for infinity. I may have to make the number 88 so no date will screw it up.
32 looks like your lucky number now. If 23 has become it's opposite (unlucky) then the inverse (32) might now be lucky. This numbers the number of lucky years 23 worked for before being inverted to 32. It also happens to be divisible by 8 (the other factor being 4 which is half of 8 ).
Additionally, no month has more than 31 days, so 32 is safe from bad calendar date destruction.
Sorry about your losses, both feline and numerical.
