Some times I wonder how much of the array of emotions and depth of emotions that there is in the NT world that I just am completely unaware of. I hate to think I am unaware of critical things about existance.I think about the world and how I see it from my eyes and I struggle to see how any of what I believe could be wrong. But I think the possiblity probly is there even if I don't believe im wrong with my heart. Then again with how I believe i am right about stuff probably relates back to religion every religon has believers that believe that they are right and theres no possiblity that any one else is right. At least most of them have to be wrong.

Considering "perception" is so jaded anyways, awarenss of emotion or the lack of it only gives a different shading to one's perception, no more accurate or inaccurate. Just different.

Any realistic view of the universe will never be taken in through the senses. Reality is unreachable. A healthy perception is all we can really strive for ourselves.

The only reason your lack of awareness of emotions makes you different is because you are around many people who are different in that respect to you. But it doesn't make you "wrong" nor them. Just different. :)

I agree with Sophist. When an average person looks at their car, they might see a blue Honda with a few rust spots that really needs a wash. When an artist looks at it, they might see a sleek elongated shape with the reflection of sky in the windows (tricky to paint!) and a yellow light striking it from the east. If a person from 1000 BC looked at it, they might see magic, or a chariot of the gods... that doesn't make any one interpretation more correct than another. Each just picks out different details of the object "car" to focus on, and applies different interpretations. I think it's the same way with emotion.

agree. emotion and how it is perceived is complex. autistic people often are accused of lacking emotion because we don't respond to our own and others emotions in the expected way. doesn't mean we don't feel the same thing. i think it is more a communication issue.

Q: What is the emotional world?
A: THE ONLY ONE I EVER WANT TO LIVE IN!! ! (btw that is what I'd actually say if I were asked that)

You have to remember always that we live on the Planet of the Naked Apes. and that our brains--as well as NT brains--are ruled as much by the medulla oblongatta (emotional center, if I remember right) as by the neocortex, which is newer, evolutionarily speaking.
The main difference is that we don't perceive emotions in the same way (if the information about mirror neurons is correct), and we tend to be more asocial or antisocial.

We do tend to be more anit social. But I think more about things to try and figure out if the emotional world shows reality any better than an anti social view on life. I keep thinking that a anti social world shows most of reality in a closer to real than the social. But in reality I should not worry of what the real world is on a level above current humanity but thats just the way I am. What is real is just from the eye of the observer. (this thought bring the problem of me trying to think of all the differen't possible observation points with out having a good enough understanding of emotions to do that.

We must remember that even We have Emotions in the end too. It is up to us to make sense of these Emotions and the States of Emotions that We have even though it maybe some times hard to do so in Our own Lives.

We may miss some of the little things but We do feel with Our hearts and heads. That is some thing We must remember for Ourselves and when dealing with others too.

I Myself have spent countless hours dealing with My Emotions over the Years of My Life to numerous even to count. Trying to analyze them and still do everyday. I think We all do analyze Our Emotions and Our State of Emotions everyday and We truly may not even think of what We are doing while doing it in the end.
