My friends and parents have often commented on how short my fingers are relative to my palm.

To give you an idea, my hands are actually average size for a guy but my index and ring fingers are both only around 7cm (I measured them when working out my 2D:4D), which is quite short.

I recently came across this article about Einstein having fingers which were "short to the extreme"

http://www.pdc.co.il/einstein.htm

Is there a link between ASD and short fingers or I'm i just reading into things too much?

I hate to say it, but MY fingers are apparently short ALSO. It doesn't APPEAR that way based on gloves, but a couple people commented on it, and one site has people claiming theirs are larger. STILL, they look normal, I can do almost anything with them, and probably could hurt many persons hands if I wanted to.

These hands are short, with stubby/fat fingers, wouldn't really know what 'short' is by their standard as would have to compare the hand physically.

My fingers are long and thin. I've been told they look like they are piano player's fingers.

Mine are very long and rounded at the tip.

I've had people say my fingers look like alien claws!

I know another Autistic individual and he has VERY long fingers!

They are long, thin, pale, and knobby; like skeleton fingers! I hated looking at his hands for a while because it creeped me out a little. But that's besides the point...

I've also got what I've always referred to as my 'stubby' fingers which is quite frustrating when I want to play the guitar or keyboard as I struggle with my weeny little digits....

I have stubby little fat fingers and my hands are the same size they were when I was 14. I was forced to have hormone treatments to accellerate my puberty and stop bone development when I reached 5'8". This procedure was done against my will, because my mother did not want me to be over 6 ft like she was. It really did a number on me!

I shot this photo a few years ago, but my fingers haven't grown or shrunk since then, I'm sure. I was pressing all of my knuckles against a hard, flat surface, which is why the palm looks really flat and weird.

My hands are fairly ordinary, as far as I know.
