Which little details annoy you the most?

Today at my pysch appointment, there was a switch that was switched on with nothing plugged into it. I couldn't get my mind off it for half an hour, then I finally pointed it out and asked if I could get up and switch it off.

Anything moving in my far peripheral vision ("corner of my eye") annoys the hell out of me, as well as small background sounds like sniffing or tapping.

I have a thing about equality; I like everything to be equal, even and straight.

Also, if there is almost a pattern in something but not quite, that will irritate me a lot, because I'll want it to be a pattern. For instance if there was a string of numbers such as "014524014574" I would find that annoying.

Flickering lights are also irritating, especially because I often seem to be the only one who notices them.

Also having the sun shining in my eyes. It makes me frown/squint and sneeze, for some reason.
Oh, and wind blowing in my face or blowing my hair into my face.

I'm going to shut up now.

Sometimes open doors, that can annoy me a little. Also, seeing water drip from a tap an odd number of times. Odd numbers are unlucky to me though.

Hippocracy truly annoys me...when you have some imbecile ridicule you for laughing a certain way, or saying a stupid joke, and then 5 minutes later they do exactly what you did except they don't get ridiculed for it because they're part of a group. I also hate the preachers on stage who preach about the glory of god and how everyone's a sinner, and you must follow jesus christ, and then they don't give money to the poor, ignore the druggies, prostitutes and everyone else their saviour stood up for. Another good example of hippocracy would be that goofball environmentalist who had a jeep and another gas guzzling car, yet went around preaching to use less fuel, and to save the earth. If you are going to preach something to me, please take a good look in the mirror at yourself before you do it. Thank you...

Loud eaters or gum chewers.

People who park illegally - especially in handicap zones.

Mom-jeans.

Loud shoes (on other people) I rarely wear loud shoes.

How the TV get's louder when it goes to a commercial.

Slow elevators.

Country music playing at the grocery store.

Stepping in water or dog pee in my socks.

Coffee that is just the teensy, weensy burned.

Getting greeting cards for every freaking GD holiday.

What?! You don't like like the feeling of dog pee in your socks?! You must be bonkers! Everyone likes the feeling of dog pee in their socks. And that nice squishy sound it makes when you walk, "Squit, squit!" And with each step, you get a refreshing burst of aroma. What's not to love?

Well, there's my attempt at humor for day.

I hate, hate, HATE the sound of silent TVs. For the longest time, I thought everyone could hear it, and it just didn't bother them... Turns out, not everybody can. :\ (although as I got older, I discovered that was true for a LOT of things I see/hear/feel - It's not 'normal', LOL)

When the phone echos everything I say,
anything that is blinking, ie lights and words,
high-pitched noises,
someone chewing something crunchy or smacking,
pen-clicking(unless i'm doing it, then its fun...),
and the way people think you can follow whatever they are saying when their talking about nothing you know.
I probably have more if I really thought about it...
oh, and those tvs... like flamingfemme :)

Both of these infuriate me. When I go into a room I will, if I am able (as in, I'm not in someone else's house), close doors and cupboards and switch off empty sockets.

I also cannot tolerate being in a room which has both the curtains open and the light on.

Advertisements that show pictures of kids eating. I'm talking about when they actually show the kid with cereal dripping out of his mouth. It's as if we have to see the food in the kid's mouth to believe it's the food is good enough to eat. And the kid is so enthusiastic about eating it, that he can't slow down and eat like a civilized human being.

It's just as bad, if not worse, if it's an adult.

Oh man I hate that! Totally rips all concentration out of me. I get hypnotised and tricked by the phone into concentrating on the echo alone.

Yeah; another one I always hated was that milk add (in America), where they show people with a "milk mustache"; ugh! It irritates me so much, I just want to wipe the milk off their faces. I hate messy things on people´s faces...it looks sloppy...but also, I guess I also hate the sensation of things like that on my face, hence I don´t like to see it on other´s faces.
