Farting in front of girls impresses them?

I just discovered that farting in front of girls somehow makes them laugh. They must think I'm funny. But when you fart in public like walmart it's like people don't notice you farting.

why is that?

Can you impress a group of girls by farting in front of them?

I wouldn't advise it. Not unless you know the girls really well and are comfortable with them. In real life, most girls are turned off by guys who fart in public all the time.

Bad idea... It's very rarely seen as positive to fart in front of people.

Depends what kind of 'impression' you're attempting to make.

The reason farts are accepted as hilariously funny in Austin Powers movies and dumb jokes is that they're socially one of the most disgusting and offensive things you can do.

People may spontaneously giggle at the noise, but try standing right next to them when you rip one off and see how much they appreciate your company.

Maybe they are giggling because they think they should or ar embarrassed.

I was with a group of aspies where someone made a noise like that and I found it quite revolting, but a younger aspie found it funny for some reason.

So I think its a case of it depends on the kinds of people you are with and maybe how old they are.

I can't say I would agree with that interpretation. I suppose some girls might think farting is funny but that's mostly the immature type. Farting I would think would be a big turn off. Girls don't like guys who smell.

When people fart near/in front of me, I ignore it and/or am disgusted.

unless you can fart "Love me tender" (or at least the whole alphabet)- don't!

You should try to avoid it, unless you have a problem with amino acids, like in an old SNL skit.

They're laughing at you, not with you. They are thinking you farting is as funny to them as if you tripped and fell, or if a soccer ball hit you in the crotch. They are laughing at your social misfortune. I would recommend not doing it again.

The reason people in Wal-Mart don't laugh is because most adults ignore things in the hopes that they will go away. Same reason they ignore homeless people begging for money, or the screaming child in the grocery store.

Well, yes, you do have a point there.
But they still smell bad.

agrees-some peoples seem to smell worse than others,staff have said that male farts are supposed to smell worse-but have no idea if that is true or if they're just biased.

silent farts are worse,at least the noisy ones helpfully give some warning,the silent ones think they're going to get away with it,not when there's a smell of rotten cat food wafting over from them.

actually, it depends a lot on what you eat.

vegetarians fart more often, but their farts are much less smelly than the meat eaters'.

I find it revolting, and not impressive at all.
