I used to think this was a lovely hat, until, one day someone walking past me said, "Nice hat," in a sarcastic voice. Now I am filled with doubt about this hat. Please clarify this issue for me.

It's a lovely hat. I myself have a wooley hat with a button on it. But you will indeed find some people who will not like your hat. I suggest you smile and, if necesarry, curtsey at them. Best to humour the tasteless ones. :D

I like that hat. That hat is cool. I can't fathom why anyone wouldn't like that hat. But some people just can't be helped... :(

I like your hat.

Some people are just miserable and need to share their misery. Ignore them.

Well either it *is* a lovely hat, or it just appeals to ladies like us... in which case I'm no better off than before .

I think that is a wonderful hat. Why would anyone not like it?

I don't see anything wrong with it. Might be different if I was wearing it . . . men aren't supposed to wear hats with flowers on them. But on you it's perfectly fine. The side-walk guy was just being a jerk.

It's my understanding that that hat style is particularly "in" right now. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Continue donning your hat! :D

Looks kind of tibetan? Well I'm not much of a fan of woolen hats, but so long as it keeps your teapot (er I mean head) warm, then it's fine by me!

It looks warm and those flaps must do wonders for your ears on a cold winter's day.

On a hatometer scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest, i'd give this hat an:

8.7

next time I get a comment I will inform the person that my hat is an 8.7!
