I used to when I was younger. But as I got older I needed more and more blankets until I just got used to not needing the pressure any more. Now a duvey with a two blanks as well feels about as heavy as a sheet did when I was 7.

I have heard of deep pressure and weighted blankets but don't know exactly how they work (I know you drape them over your body right?LOL) or what they are supposed to accomplish can someone pass along info?

The weight makes me feel more secure ,comfortable and its easier to calm down when i was small i had a weighted vest to help me focus.
I sleep competely covered pillows and blankets over my head like a cacoon.

I don't need it or think about it really but I do like having more blankets this time of year. The alternative is July I suppose where even a sheet is too much.

I am very picky about how the blankets cover me though. No elbows sticking out, nothing near my neck. Can't stand things near my neck. I'd pull em over my head but then I can't breathe. Gets too stuffy.

I have several favorite sleeping positions.

90% flat on my back

8% on stomach, head on arms
2% on side.

Depends on conditions, but that's how it works out. I wake up in exactly the same position I fall asleep without fail.

When I have pressure there is an overwhelming sense of calm that almost overtakes me. I get the same feeling when I do joint compressions. Joint compressions is when you move your joints back and forth in a prescribed manner, usually done immediately following the brushing protocol.

Several blankets, again depending on the temperature of the room, or my pets will do.
Sometimes do the pillow thing, but mostly only when I have a headache. Covers over my head is funny, I always had to (even as a little girl) make sure my nose was pointed toward the fresh air.

Mmmm...deep pressure! For me one of the problems is getting enough weight without adding heat.

I like it quite a lot (and currently sleep with 2 thick blankets) but I don't really need it. I do, however, tend to need at least more substantial pressure than a bedsheet, or I have that much more trouble sleeping. I actually think I know why this is, but I won't go into it here.

I usually go to bed with my hands tucked under my pillow folding upwards. This is the same maneuever You use when going to church.

But I can sleep without it. It's sort of my own preference.

I actually don't like deep pressure all that much. It's OK but it seems ot be one "Aspie Biggie" I'm not really into.

Hm, I don't know so much about the pressure but I have to be covered in at least some way or I can't sleep. And I have to be on my stomach.

I think the pressure thing in me has to do with my tactile sence being somewhat poor lots of things i just dont notice Like I can walk barefoot in the snow, dont realy feel pain in quite the normal way ect. so to feel anything its got to be heavy or its like its nothing which distrubs me.
