Is this part of AS?

When something happens, like for example. this lady in the cafeteria at school made me upset about a month ago. I got stuck on what she had said for about a week or 2.

Also, sometimes I get stuck on things that I didn't get upset about so much, but just events that had an impact on me. Like back in March, I kept mentioning something that had happened, it didn't make me upset, but it had a huge impact on me, I had never been in such as situation before so I kept bringing it up.

Is this an aspie thing?

I'm a little stuck on that incident that happened in the music room of my clubhouse, yesterday.

I'm stuck on the risen phone bill that will be permanent and it can't be undone.

I don't know if it's an AS thing, more of a OCD thing I heard.

I'm still stuck on some things that happened 20 - 30 years ago.

I'm not sure, but I usually do that. My family gets annoyed because of this trait.

I get stuck on all sorts of things forever! Even if it's just a tiny thing I will think and stress about it for a long, long time, when anyone else would have forgotten all about it :(

I do the opposite... unless other people are upset about something or the thing is recurring, I get over stuff pretty easily. It can actually be bad -- like there have been a couple of times that I received warning notices in the mail about student loan payments. I'm still in school so it was always a mistake that the loan was in repayment... but I'd read the notice and tell myself oh, I have to call them tomorrow, then proceed to not worry one more time about it until they start calling me repeatedly. By that time I become anxious, because being called on the phone makes me nervous. If someone says something insulting I forget it really quickly, too. It's not worth it to hold onto it and stay mad, so I never bothered. Only really bad things stay in my mind, and it's because I'm worried, not upset.

Occasionally yes, but usually only when I make a severe social mistake.

I generally adopt a "live and let live" approach other then those times.

My mum says the most annoying thing about me is that I get "stuck" on things. Whatever that means. Once I decide I want to do something, NOTHING will change my mind. I've wanted to be a veternarian as long as I could remember but my parents think the acidemic requirments wil lbe too hard for me so they say I should focus on being a veternary nurse and that maybe in the future I will become more "mature" and realise becoming a vet is impossible. I think the rigity of AS or getting "stuck" is a good thing becuase it enables me to never give up or give in to other people's ignorance.

I used to be like this but I tend to get over things. Unless it's about my sister. I'll let go of whatever she did/said but I'll still hold the same feelings against her.
