Do you ever feel like you see or hear things 'how they are', and because of this, you think you know 'how they should be'? Like, you watch a movie and the way a certain line is said sounds so ...incorrectly put? or it just stands out in a funny way? Or how about you look at a face in a picture, and your mind wants to correct it, change it, or something?

What about, in a group, do you just see the individuals, and that you are 'removed' from your setting? Like to you you're just kind of 'there', watching and observing things happen (but you are concious to the fact that in these people's realities, you are more than a part of it)? Specifically with astute observation abilities.

It is crazy, I took a trip to Asia over the past 3 weeks, and experiences just a complete feeling of removal. I was always just 'there', and i see people as just there. Keep in mind, I am completely aware as to what is really happening around me, in reality, but I am not part of it. Except I am, I am just experiencing it in strange, disconnected way. It is like I am in the situations but completely out of context. I could try and describe it further.

I just turned 20, and these are things that are happening to me nowadays. I've never had a diagnosis of any sort, but I am curious if I really do have aspergers, or something else. I imagine a lot of you won't understand what I am talking about, or will suspect that I'm crazy, but I promise you, these ARE experiences that I am having.

Crazier as it sounds, i have recently realized that my 'friends' exist in a different sort of reality than me, and to them I am not 'me' but rather I am 'Chris' (which is my name). Do you understand the distinction?

Someone shed some light

I have never been to Asia. I imagine it is not unusual to experience some level of dissociation when traveling overseas.
