PLEASE SAVE AN AVATAR

Each Christmas time, there is an influx of joy and charity throughout the world as people of all religions come together to worship Santa Claus. But amidst all this song and praise, people in their rush to seize holiday immortality, alter their avatars to a festive theme. And how little do they forget about their old avatars, discarded like day old Krispy Kreme donuts, thrown out onto the street. In this time of caring, we ask you, the good people of wrong planet, to adopt an abandoned avatar.

This is Jake. He used to belong to WP user ChudThunderer until CT got bored and decided to make a change. Jake’s been living on the street for about six months now.

“Yeah it’s been tough you know. I’ve been going through some grief counselling lately, trying to get over this rejection. But I keep having flashbacks. I mean, it’s like, why did he bother to even use me in the first place if he was just going to throw me away like garbage? Do you hear that Chud? YOU USED ME! YOU CANT EAT THE EGGS AND THROW THE BUNNY AWAY! AN AVATAR IS NOT A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE!”

There are stories like this all over wrongplanet. You just have to know where to look.

Harvey says she can no longer face life.

Image

“I turned to alcohol. Then drugs. Then I got myxomatosis. It was horrible. Luckily, a friend at Avatars Anonymous gave me a lifeline and I’ve been clean for about three hours now.”

And now these avatars need your help. For those of you who actually have hearts or similar blood pumping organs, why not adopt a forgotten avatar and change a life this Christmas. The following are avatars currently residing at Mother Heslop’s Home for Unwanted Avatars. Make one feel special today.

The bunnies are all well and good, but do you have something in perhaps a slightly gnawed turkey or stray Halloween class V?

And, of course, after Xmas it will go back to the regular Mr. Bean. :)

Well we have this little avatar named Polly-Anne who was a former swimsuit model.

BTW Sophist, do you realise the symbolism behind your avatars and the ascent of man? I mean, it's perverted seriously. The next avatar you have must be Mr Bean dead in the grave.

I kind of regret not saving all my avatars.

Well, I was actually gonna go for bunny ears for Easter... but a grave is a definite possibility. Though certainly not until next Halloween.

We're working on setting up an Avatar Grief and Abused Hotline, for those like you who have thrown them away without thinking.

It's going to be okay. You can get help.

on rare occasions. Though not for WP.

8O Oh! Um... I fear her stunning good looks and golden tan would be a poor match for my poor self esteem and programmer tan personality type.

I could dig up a million of the ones I have saved, but that would take time.
