Don't know if this is just a coincidence but.... Chinese year of the ??????
2007 - Chinese year of the Chicken - Bird Flu Pandemic devastates parts of Asia .
2008 - Chinese year of the Horse - Equine Influenza decimates Australian racing.
2009 - Chinese year of the Pig - Swine Flu Pandemic kills hundreds of pigs around the globe.
2010 - Chinese year of the Cock - what could possibly go wrong ?

Bird flu was more of a problem in 2005-2006.

Horse flu happened in 2007 in Australia too.

Sorry, I know it is a joke. But I hate jokes that use facts to make the joke work but people have gotten the facts wrong. :oops:

If you're so concerned about the joke being wrong, why not pick on it for not including year of the rat - not the horse...

in any case, I got that email to and the tagline at the bottom made me laugh more...

It said... "Did you know that there is a hotline for swine flu. I called it but I just got crackling". :P
