I was considering picking one of these up. I'd prefer something that says "Asperger's" on it, but I like the puzzle pieces. What I'm wondering, though, is the implications. Is it autism awareness in the sense of simple, literal awareness, growth of knowledge and the like? Or is this puzzle piece ribbon associated with curebies and other agenda-driven people? I just want something that points out the AS and maybe throws in a joke, that's all. Not one of the pissy, whiny bumper stickers on cafepress. There are some funny stickers there, too, mind you, but I'd still have to get a magnet sheet to stick it on... But I digress.

Do the puzzle ribbons in fact represent one of those groups or an idea that would be in conflict with someone who just is who she is and doesn't want curing or a scapegoat? Or are they no more than they seem?

The best sticker is one you make up yourself. Many craft stores sell printable sticker paper. If you make your own, you can be sure that the agenda you are supporting is your and yours alone :-)
