I'm back in Arizona, though probably two hours drive from you.

My best friend lives in Tempe and I suspect he has some Aspergers symptoms like I do (although mild/not complete, like I do). We're meeting up in LA in a few weeks and driving back to Tempe. Depending on scheduling I might be down for meeting some new people. When I'm down there we usually go to Dos Gringos, I think on Priest Drive

Dos Gringos trailer park bar? I believe I know where that is.

I've been trying to find like a group or something for Aspies here in Phoenix, but there seems to be none. I'm in Avondale, however, my mom says she's willing to drive me all the way Scottsdale, Tempe, Queen Creek, or anywhere, as long as I meet more people. She used to take me to Chandler, just to go to a counselor. It didn't work out too well, as it wasn't the type of thing I needed. Never even knew of AS then.

I've spent the last three weeks trying to figure out something to say, as my counselor says I should take a co worker I get along with, like to get together outside of work. I only socialize at work. Outside...home with my parents, dog, kitty, and fish. Taking my kitty on walks in her stroller around the neighborhood when my parents aren't too tired. I'm not allowed to go on my own, though the neighborhood's safe.

I'm from Phoenix too. There's an Aspergers group for people 18-30 that meets the third saturday of every month at the Brown library (usually there, or somebody's house.) There's also one that meets the second saturday in tempe, but I haven't been there since summer so it's probably changed. I can keep you posted should you like.

That would be so great! I'd really appreciate it!

Do you know when the next meeting is? I'd love an excuse to go to a library again, as well! I haven't been there in YEARS. My parents are not fond of libraries. Or bookstores.

Well, we have three weeks before the next meeting. I'll talk to a few people who are on the ball, and I'll see if the Tempe group still meets. I might still have the details in my gmail. I'll get back later today or tomorrow.

Keep me informed; if time permits me to travel down there I would like to attend.

When I first joined I couldn't figure out why there were so many WP members who were all from Phoenix... did not realize this meant the avatar rank.

Ha Ha.

I thought the same thing, then I realized that everyone else is a bird of some kind, and Phoenix is a bird, so........

Anyway, I've sent emails to authority figures from both groups. I'll get back to you soon enough. I want to contact them before I give contact information. Just out of consideration, you see.
