^^[I especially like the part in Hitchhiker's where reality goes out to lunch and all of the crazy things happen. ]
^[Emma seems fine to me.]

"Ana-ne...Ana-ne!" Karion suddenly called, reaching out. A vague, shadowy thing slowly appeared piece by piece and hovered there in front of the little girl, vibrating and shifting. Tailmon growled subtly, as if unsure what to do.

Suddenly, Kiki got up and scrambled to their feet. "Wait! You're that Emma I've been hearing all about, aren't you?"

Emma's face lit up with realization. "Wait. Don't tell me..." She looked for a second, trying to let the name come back to her... A lightbulb went off over Emma's head. "...Branch, right?" she grinned.

Kiki elbowed Calem in the ribs, stopping him from saying something. "Yup, that's me!" Kiki grinned. They looked a little surprised for a second.
"Wow, you're a lot... uh, older than I thought."

Emma laughed. "Oh Arceus, I'm guessing Looker's told you all about me, huh?" She fished a crumb out of her air and threw it away with a flick of her wrist. "Well, it's been a while since I've seen him, those stories are kinda old." she grinned.

Kiki rolled their eyes. "Oh, of course, how can I ever expect him to be current?" They growled. "I swear that dude is a pain in the as.... I-I mean, a real pain in the neck sometimes."

Emma chuckled at Kiki's last second word-swap. "Can't swear in front of the kiddos, huh?" she said, nodding in Karion's direction.

Kiki rolled their eyes. "Nope, it's against my protocol. Speaking of protocol..." Their eyes became suddenly serious as they turned their gaze toward Emma. "He showed you the... the diagrams, right? Looker did?"

Emma's eyes suddenly grew wide as she realized what Kiki was talking about.
"Oh. ....Oh." she said gravely. "About that."

She turned to Laura and Calem.
"Uhmm, you may not believe this, guys, but guess what we found in
the basement of Lysandre Cafe?"

Laura knew the look on Emma's face all to well. "Um... what?" She felt like she knew was comming, causing a knot forming in her stomach. She desprately hoped her suspicions weren't true.

That pen that Laura had came to Calem's mind. The blueprint that Kiki had given her... looked an awful lot like it.

In response to Lilli's question Mike says "If we didn't wear our helmets then the lack of pressure would be a problem, liquids cannot exist in a vacuum so every liquid in your body would either instantly freeze or instantly boil into a gas. The formation of ice crystals would damage cells and since your blood will stop flowing the lack of oxygen will be the least of your problems. It would take a few minutes before you actually die and if you are in space for just a few seconds then you might be OK as long as you don't try to hold your breath which will cause your lungs to burst."

Mike messages Captain Plank again and buys another hologram belt, Sam goes and gets it and Mike hands it to Karion. When they put the hologram belts on Mike connects to them remotely and makes them project holographic glowing dresses that appear to respond to gravity, wind, and touch even though things can pass through them. "Is this good or do you want me to change it to something else?"

"That is fine, thank you." Oeuyia answered absently, watching Karion try to hug the shadowy ghost.

"Wooow! They look so pretty!" Laura said dreamily.

"Oh, one more thing." Mike adds, "Holograms need the atmosphere to function, so in space it will be invisible."

"Alright." Oeuyia said pensively, not really paying attention.
Meanwhile, the ghost was steadily growing larger, until Karion was nearly obscured from view. Oeuyia reached out a tentative hand to touch it, but the ghost suddenly reared back. Tailmon swiftly transformed to Angewomon, but the ghost did not seem affected at all by her holy light.

"...hold that thought, Em." Laura said abruptly, giving Kiki her holocaster to hold. "What the heck is that thing?" Laura inquired in a hushed whisper.

"We are currently encountering a desperate and despairing ghost." Oeuyia replied calmly as the ghost rippled in an uncanny manner in front of her.
"Ana-ne..." Karion whispered, holding onto Angewomon tightly.

"Ohh, sweet." KIki grinned. They turned it around and flipped it over and fiddled with it. Then they saw the label on the bottom and laughed. "Oh god, Lysandre Labs. The irony."

Meanwhile, Lilli looked up from where they were sitting and saw the rippling ghost and looked at it with confusion. "What's that?" they asked.

Karion reached out again, but the ghost inadvertently pushed her hands away, causing Angewomon to pick Karion up and retreat farther away. The ghost stopped [dead, you might say], and stared hollowly at Karion as if not quite comprehending anything that was going on.

"Wait, don't--" Emma started as Laura ran off. When Kiki flipped the device over, and all that came across the projection on her end was the floor of something.

A loud smacking noise could be heard as Emma facepalmed. In an exasperared tone, she said, "Whenever I try to tell Laura something, she gets distracted. Could you please tell Calem to come here?"

(Oki, cool!)

Mike says "Ghosts? Don't those like... not exist? *sigh* Why does anything surprise me anymore? You turned guns into bananas and a blast door into pudding."

[I find it funny how no one's really paying attention to the fact that there's a creepy shadowy spirit thing in the ship with them... ]

"Ia is a ghost." Oeuyia pointed out. The ghost swayed and twisted around, as if unsure of what it was even looking at.
"Ana-ne...ah...ah..." Karion tried again, though Angewomon still kept a safe distance.
The ghost possibly said something, though it wasn't in any language anyone else knew.
