Escalator definitely! I had a really bad experience with stairs when I was fifteen. My knees had started making cracking sounds when I went up stairs, they weren't painful and only ached but I hardly noticed the aching. One day I was going up the stairs and my right knee cracked loudly, the pain was the worst I've ever known and my leg gave way. I reached out for the handrail, my hand missed it and my face hit the stairs, breaking my nose and my jaw :cry: The pain was unbearable.

We have a stair lift now so I no longer have that worry.

It was awful and was very painful. It took a long time to recover but I'm better now thankfully, I hate my legs :wink:
