A bit of both.

Make careful notes about everything or make it all up as you go?

No ice cubes in water. They just make it too cold. I'm supposed to drink a full glass of water with my first medicine of the day. If it is cold, I can't do it. I usually fill the glass up the night before so it will be at room temperature.

I also drink soft drinks at room temperature. I never even put them in the refrigerator -- they sit out in the room. In the past, I've walked up to a coke machine while they were being refilled, buy a cold coke, and then exchange it for one at room temperature with the guy refilling the machine.

The only reason for ice is either if the drink is above room temperature or to keep it from sloshing around in an open cup.

Chicken soup, beef soup, or vegetable soup?

Vegetable soup. I make a nice re-fried and black bean soup with corn, tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic, and sometimes okra. I like it at least.

Follow existing recipes or use them as inspiration for your own?

Berries are so expensive for what you get. Oranges.

Oranges or grapefruit?

Firing squad.

I can drink orange juice but can't touch a real orange. I'm agitated by the colour orange and the smell of oranges.

I can't eat grapefruit or drink the juice.

YACK!

I like the flowers and showers of spring, and the leaf colours of autumn plus Halloween, so I say both, and pass this question onto the next person.
