(I just checked my blood test results. If I understand it correctly, it is extremely probable that I have a blood clot in my left leg. It seems likely that I'll be in the hospital for a few days while they dissolve the clot. I might get a Life Flight ride in the morning to a major hospital.)

The more I look into it, the more it looks like it may not require hospitalization. If they need me on an IV drip, then that would still require hospitalization.

FWIW, in grad school I knew a grad student who had a blood clot in his penis. He had to take enormous numbers of aspirin every day for about six weeks.
