Finish the story. I'll begin with the first post. Use only haikus.

Liz answered the door. It was her ex-husband, Ted. He looked exhausted.

The lines on his face., furrowed as a deep ravine, betrayed years of pain.

She drew back in shock. He was from her distant past. She swallowed, and froze.

"Why would Ted be here?"
Liz grew very sick with fear.
She thought she'd throw-up.

Meanwhile, back in town
A woman waits by the phone
The clock ticks away

Each second that passed
Felt as if it were hours.
Would the phone ring soon?

Ted cleared his dry throat. "My car broke down, down the street," He offered quickly.

Liz was caught off-guard.
"Would you like to come inside?"
She managed to ask.

She looked in his eyes
Some one else was there; a shadow
Some one else was there

"Thanks, Liz," Ted muttered.
Liz's heart began to pound.
Ted entered the house.

Liz was unaware of the shadow slipping in behind Ted softly.

The shadow's name was
Tommy, and he was really
A wicked prankster.

A curse forever
Cast strong onto a shadow
This was Tommy's fate.

Tommy then made the
Phone ring of the downtown gal.
Will she answer soon?

She answered promptly
She had waited for his call
As he knew she would

"Ah, Ruth, you answered,"
Tommy sneered into the phone.
"Better stay alert!"
