Not actual roleplay characters per-se, but I love toying around with the characters in my story, such as killing off their love interest of having their mum want to kill them and stuff.

Always been cruel to my players' characters. Figured it was the GM's duty to be cruel to my own - didn't make any sense to do it myself.

I managed to drive a Remus Lupin to a breakdown with my suicidal, self mutilating Harry, and did a good job on a Snape too... I was very creative coming up with ways for him to kill himself, not to mention very graphically descriptive.

Oh dear. My Matthew was a little pessesmistic last night - considering he's usually the one that points out the silver linings....
(Think Pollyanna but even worse.)

isn't roleplaying about being cruel to people anyway?

Does having your character subject to many kidnappings and the damsel in distress role count as cruelty?

While sometimes I am cruel to my characters, it's to add interest, and they recover usually shortly afterwards...

I sometimes cruel to sims but not characters in roleplay. I don't play any roleplay things. Would like to though but no one at my school takes part in Roleplaying games.

Ha...The Sims....
I have messed up so many sim families.
It's like the Jerry Springer Show.
For instance, I had this family with 5 kids, they grew up, had kids with each other, one had an alien baby, continued inbreeding for 10 generations, and they all have malformed noses and green skin...

Funny thing is, I want people to kill off Koise in the Roleplay, but as far as I know they haven't done that yet!!

Um, I am afraid I was once very cruel to a sim... I somehow managed to put him in a room then remove the doors and windows...he expired eventually but it took awhile and even though it was just a computer generated character, I felt appalling guilt

Best way to kill a Sim:
1) Said Sim MUST have 0 Cooking skill.
2) Put him/her into a room with a stove and fill the room with flammable objects.
3) Tell the Sim to fry some eggs.

Another one is to take the ladder out of the swimming pool!
