K-class stars, slightly cooler and not as bright as our Sun (not to be confused with K-cars, designed by somebody not as bright as my son, but not cool at all...).

Well, yes, "M-class planet" is strictly Star Trek, but we're allowing fictional stuff, so you're okay. :)

Oort cloud, a loose cloud of dust, comets, and planetismals surrounding the Solar system at a distance of about one light-year. Only loosely gravitationally bound to the Sun, the orbits of those comets can be disturbed by almost anything, including passing rogue stars and galactic gravitational waves.

And then R, for red dwarf. A type of star that is highly common, as in 80% of stars if I remember correctly, and the name of a British sitcom also.
