Cerophobia. This is a real fear of mine, that I've had for YEEEARS.

I fear eating cereal in front of people, and, I can't stand watching others eat cereal in front of me. I feel like less of a man when others watch me eat cereal, and I feel like others are purposefully angering me when they eat cereal in front of me. It triggers something inside of me, that I think stems from daycare.

I was in daycare years ago, and the staff brought in Lucky Charms for everyone. And everyone was talking about how they ate their cereal. I was angered by this. I thought, "Why not just eat the food, instead of debating on how one should eat it." Ever since then, public cereal consumption makes me feel stupid. I think that everything we do, stems from an early event in our lives. The choices that we make are based on knowledge. We can only make the choices that we know how to make. We learned them from somewhere.

backstory-i love all my aunts, and some are down right crazy(bi-polar on my moms side,after60's,turns scizo) so family gatherings are a hoot. well my mom just passed 4weeks ago and we had the memorial 2weeks ago and a women walked up to me and introduced herself as my aunt(not one of my mom's sister) and knew i didn't know who she was and we started talking and it lead to anixety, and my friend on larazapame(SP), and i looked at her and thought WOW, if we weren't family?
