What are your favourite Olympic sports? Pesonally I like watching the gymnastics and diving - things that look beautiful and co-ordinated, that I could never do myself.

I like the Gymnastics, too. I also like the swimming rounds.

For the Summer Olympics, I'm looking forward to rugby sevens being played for the first time. NZ and some of the other Pacific Island nations will be in with a chance for a medal. And here's hoping they later introduce normal rugby union, too.

I had a go at curling once when I was away on a hockey tournament. Those things are heavy! I wasn't much good, but then we were there for the hockey and just having a laugh. I think several beers had been consumed before we hit the ice. :lol:

@Kyle, I think they sat those dogs down close together, then had them jump for a ball at the same time, and it has been cropped out of the picture.

I prefer winter olympics, because it has ice hockey (exciting and skillful) and figure skating (beautiful and skillful). I always try these things, and it gives you an extra appreciation of how much work it takes to get that good.

I've never tried curling myself, only watched it. The stones are supposed to be about 20 kilos. It's fun and exciting to watch anyway
