I wasn't going to, but I wouldn't want to make you a liar and so I shall.

Huntingtower Castle is a castle which is not far from my town (I don't live in a village you see). It belonged to Clan Ruthven. The 4th Earl of Ruthven headed a plot to kidnap King James VI (later King James I of England) whilst he was visiting the castle. The plot was known as the raid of Ruthven and resulted in King James being held for about a year.

Eventually James was released. After further Ruthven Clan plots, he retaliated, confiscating their lands, invalidating the Ruthven name and changing the name of Ruthven Castle to Huntingtower.

A depiction of Huntingtower Castle is used as the symbol for my primary school (or at least it was when I was there) and I have visited the castle a few times (although I haven't been there for a while, so maybe I should visit it again soon).
