I doubt it, so I guess potential vampire victims should carry microscopes on their persona at all times, so the vampire not only will count the sands but also sort them.

^ Those things look like something out of Quake. They can apparently survive being boiled or frozen, and can live 200 years....

They are nopes! :lol: They can survive just about anything. Drought, heating up to 151°C and as cold temperatures as minus 253°C, high radiation vacuum and the pressure of up to 6000 atmospheres while in hibernation. And they can hibernate for up to 10 years.
