It's your fault that Sylkat is at 10,000 posts. If you had not goaded her into posting about ice cubes she would still be on 9999.

Whose fault can it possibly be that you are miles from 10,000? Mine? Canaspie's? Enviro's? No, no, no.
Dear Moomingirl. It's yours.

My cat is refusing to come in for the night.

Who is the self-professed cat expert in this forum?

That would be you Krabo. The two things must be related. I can only conclude that it must therefore be your fault.

Like the Republic of South Africa, New Zealand doesn't appear to have sent an ice hockey team to these Olympics either. After spending several hours trying to find a reason, I have come to the conclusion that it is your fault.

Attempting to distract Moomingirl from her cat?

She's too smart, and 'Ice Hockey' is not as interesting as an obstinate kitty.

Your fault.

Your fault that I am now forced to ban you for the obviously false statement you made regarding hockey and obstinate kitties

I'm gonna have to agree with you there Canaspie.

It must be your fault for being right.

Finland won Austria by 8-4 and Canada won Norway by 3-1. Elementary mathematical reasoning reveals that Finland should beat Canada by two goals provided Austria and Norway are equal, which they are not. It's your (all of you) fault that I'm wasting my midnight telling you about this.

You must be tired Krabo. I think that's the first time I've seen an error in your English.
Finland won Austria? Canada won Norway? 8O

The word you are looking for is 'beat'. It must be your fault you are up so late.

No, he used the right word. Norway is our 11th province now.

Your fault that I had to explain that to you.

There is one beat in my post. I thougt "win" is for milder cases, and "beat" is for crucial cases. I simply refuse to believe that "win" is out of the question when talking about teams playing any game. Your fault I'm discussing English grammar at this ungodly hour.

Nope. I win. Therefore I beat you.
The only way I can 'win' you, is if you are the prize. Like Canada winning Norway. Clear?

Canaspie

You are hereby blamed for posting an inscrutable word.

'Donnerwetter', indeed.

Will I ever recover from that over there? Bring me sackcloth and ashes. Deport me into Australia, choose some backwater two-horse town. Image

You want a two-horse town? That's just greedy. And I thought someone with your knowledge of history would realise that they don't deport people to Australia anymore.
