Meryl Streep's middle daughter, Grace Gummer, is on the new show "Extant" (on NBC in the U.S.)----starring Halle Barry, and that Croatian guy from "ER". Grace looks like her mom----same wicked, square jawline----lonnnnnng nose, etc. She also played on "SMASH", as Angelica Houston's character's daughter, but her hair is darker now. She's good. You can tell her mother has coached her----she doesn't do what her mother does, she uses her own creativity----but, you can tell her mother has told her "Think how you can make it interesting----don't just walk-down a pier, run a zig-zag."

I just heard that James Garner died, of natural causes, at the age of 86. I loved him so much, and was a huge fan of "The Rockford Files". R.I.P., sir!!

I forgot to say "R.I.P." for the Entertainment World's loss of Elaine Stritch. She was somethin' else, and will be missed!! ! Even if you didn't like her, you just had to admire her hutzpah!! !

Sean Connery was the original choice for the title role in The Thomas Crown Affair, but he declined it. A decision he later regretted.

R.I.P. Lauren Bacall. Thankyou for being.

One of my most favorite movies, of-all-time, is "How to Marry a Millionaire".

Christopher Nolan said that Bane from The Dark Knight Rises is what Bruce Wayne could have become had he stayed with the League of Shades in Batman Begins.

Animal noises were used to make the 777 train in Unstoppable sound more menacing.

Lauren Bacall did not approve of Marilyn Monroe's behavior while filming 'How To Marry A Millionaire'.

And said so.

Google for a video of Glenn Close and Lauren Bacall in Ms. Bacall's apartment in New York.

Ms. Close went to visit Ms. Bacall and her Papillion, Sophie, who is/was adorable.

Simply heartbreaking.....gorgeous apartment, stunning view, lovely furniture, walls covered by framed pictures of the famous and powerful people who were her friends, many/most who were gone, and when she came into the room, she had gained weight, had obvious difficulty walking, and was so very adoring of her funny little dog....she had become a a little old lady who had outlived those dearest to her.

Her dog was her best friend and companion.......so very sad.

Clark Gable was married to Carole Lombard, who died in 1942.

Despite marrying three times after her death, she was the greatest love of his life, and when he died, eighteen years after her, he was buried beside her.

Sylvester Stallone loathed Richard Gere, and claims to have gotten him fired when they worked on 'The Lords of Flatbush' together.
