granted- since hollywood made it up, it is very slow

i wish the movies were realistic

Granted. Only films about the realism of paint drying on walls and water dripping from faucets can ever be made anymore.

I wish everyone practiced a peaceful meditation for a reasonable amount of time each day - no more meditation than that and no less.

Granted. Anyone who doesn't comply with the new edict is gruesomely murdered.

I wish rainbows really did have pots of gold at their ends.

Granted. As soon as a rainbow appears, everybody everywhere immediately begins racing to it to claim the prize. Dirty tricks and violence ensue among the competitors, leading to mass death, carnage, and chaos.


Oh, and I always get the gold and run away with it before you can get there.


I wish for a secure place to hold all of this gold I'm collecting where nobody else can steal it from me.

Granted. Due to the small amount of gold in comparison to the amount of people in the US, we're all dirt poor.

Granted. They can can take only a 100x100 dpi photo and have the memory for only 1 picture, and flashes are extra.

Granted. The mania ends, not due to the end of humanity. When the end of time actually comes, everyone has been lured into a false sense of security by this wish, so no one notices.
