looks like the little wallaby has no one else to turn to, and the dog can not refuse to be it's friend

it makes me quite sad indeed this picture. it is almost like they share each other's despair because they know they are headed for a slaughterhouse when they grow a little older, and they wll be parted forever so as someone can have one meal.
