While Laura and Oeuyia are talking Mason explains "Space is a vacuum so if there is a hole in the ship air will rush out, to cause decompression just open a hangar door. You might have to disable safety systems or something to do that." Mike adds, "same with undocking seeing as the docking port blast doors were turned into pudding, there is probably some override that will need done."
Mason: "Wait, what?! Pudding?"
Mike: "Long story."
Mason: "OK. By the way, someone is going to need to man the weapons console if we want to do anything to help in the battle at all."

"You know, Oeuyia's right. You're kind, beautiful, and I love you." Calem smiled at her. "And I highly doubt our friend's will be mad at us." He comforted. Being that they were sharing the computer chair, and that there were was another person very close to her, one dangerously close to kissing her, the other one with her hand on her face, made her feel a little skiddish.

"Hey, Karion..." Oeuyia suddenly turned and looked around before noticing that the little girl had crawled over to see what Lilli was up to.

Lilli looked somewhat startled when they realized that Karion was there. "AAA, it's the humany baby!"

Lilli picked Karion up curiously, fascinated by the fact that this baby did not have fur on it.
"Oh my gosh, it's so humany!" they grinned.

"What does human-y mean?" Oeuyia asked, looking quite puzzled. Karion stared hard at Lilli, as if trying to have a staring contest, and then poked Lilli gently, as if trying to see if Lilli was solid.

"Okay we can do this later when were not in the middle of a mission." Laura said abruptly, spinning the chair back towards the computer, checking to see if the USS Hercules replied yet. "Yay! Finally they replied!" She chirped, opening the message.

Mason volunteers to operate the weapons console and he sits down at it wondering how to operate it. He fiddles with the target lock settings a bit and presses a button which causes 5 missiles to launch and fly towards the USS Hercules. "Nononononono, that's not supposed to happen!" he says as he frantically fiddles with the menus until he finds how to remotely detonate the missiles before reaching their target. "Phew, crisis averted." He tries to figure out how to target Heiwa Federation units marked as friendly until he finds the proper override.

Mike examines the helm console trying to figure out what's what until he finds the dock release button. "Never mind about the docking port thing, apparently it's controlled from the helm." he says, pushing it. The ship jerks backward slightly as the air escapes from the docking port passage. He tries to make the ship roll a little faster to increase the gravity but he hits the wrong control and causes it to yaw to the left which added to it's existing rotation makes it start to rotate in a strange way. "Oops, apparently that's yaw and not roll." he says as he looks for a rotation canceling autopilot.

"I can't understand all this space lingo!" Laura complained, squinting at the screen, at the message from the USS Hercules.

When the ship started to shake, Laura fell forward out of the computer chair, her poufy dress slightly breaking her fall. "What was that?" Laura groaned, Calem helping her up.

"Uh, I think the hanger doors are the ones I closed," Guinan said slowly.

Guinan did not see the missiles go flying toward the Hercules, since she had internal schematics onscreen. She cried out in surprise as she went flying out of her chair suddenly. It took her a moment to get back into it, and she looked very disoriented.

"Found it!" shouts Mike as he enables the kill rotation autopilot causing the ship's rotation to slow down to a stop which leaves the bridge in zero gravity. Mike and Mason begin floating out of their chairs so they strap themselves in with the seat belts meant just for this sort of thing. Mike notices that the ship is drifting dangerously close to Nexus station so he uses a quick reaction thruster burst to make them start floating away from the station.

Mason targets the remaining Heiwa Federation carrier and launches another wave of missiles most of which hit and do a fair amount of damage. He continues giving orders, "Laura and Calem, tell the Hercules to attempt to board the station and take it over while we distract the carrier, you could also try calling the enemy carrier to distract them even more. Everyone else, our goal is to make this ship a big hundred thousand ton distraction for that enemy carrier over there so be distracting. We want them to pay attention to us and not the station. We also still need that fake hull breach, and someone probably better either man the drone command console over there."

"Heheh, call the enemy ship to distract them? I can do that, I'm in a trollish mood, tehehe!" She giggled. While Laura went on to call them an untold number of times in a row, Calem went on to type the message to the USS Hercules.

"Mike told us to tell you to try and board the Nexus Station and take it over while we distract the carrier." He was better than Laura in that way at least, in the sense that he could say what needs to be said in the least amount of words possible.

For some unknown reason, Laura was actually getting reception on her pink bejeweled Holo Caster, and somebody on the enemy ship answered, just with no video. "Who are you!?" The disembodied, annoyed sounding voice asked.

'Hehe, um..." She looked down, trying to think of something. "Princess of the Faeries and All Things Pretty! Glitter Sparkle!" She made a peace sign with the hand that wasn't holding the Holo Caster. Laura diddn't know where that came from, but hey, a magical girl catchphrase would work!

"Uh, okay?" He asked, confused. She was trying to sound as crazy and wild as possible.

"Did you know that there are more trees on the earth that we're from than stars in our Milky Way? Normally I think of candy when I hear the words Milky Way. Flabebè is a cute Pokemon and so is Skitty! I have a Flabebè holding a white flower in one of my PC boxes. She's a cutie! Cure Flora from Princess Precure is pretty! Anna is a total drop-fainted beauty for boy Pokemon. I geuss I couldnt blame them!" She continued to go on about random things without even having to stop to breathe, leaving the person on the other end dumbfounded. When the gravity quit, Laura floated around uncontrollably, causing the little projection of her to turn upside down. "Weeee~" she giggled, trying to keep the skirt of her dress from going everywhere. "Oh," she started, as sf she just had an epiphany. She pulled the device close to her face, trying to look as mennacingly creepy as possible. "We're gonna take back the Nexus Station, and if you have anything to do with even trying to stop us, you're gonna get it." She said, her voice a barely audible whisper. Then, as if nothing had happened, her expression went back to her normal and bubbly look, smiling at the camera, continuing to go on nonstop about random and completely useless things.

"Hello!" Oeuyia exclaimed, suddenly inserting herself in front of the camera next to Laura. "Did you know that the Universe [including you] is full of light?" Oeuyia proceeded to go on a dreamy lecture about the true nature of the cosmos, magic, and something called the Lifestream. Jian, Aelkai, and Ia looked at each other for a moment and joined in, each giving their personal opinions on the best spells to cast to attract positive energy, the best places to find winged kittens, and whether the Tetra-Alpha Dimension was the best place to meet beings from Neptune, respectively.

"Hey! These are the bad guys we're talking to, they're not light!" Laura whined when Oeuyia interjected.

"What do you mean, attract positive energy?!" she was getting slightly annoyed, having to hold her Holo Caster out in front of them while they talked. They went on. Laura had an annoyed look on her face, as her arm was getting tired and what all of them were saying made no sense to her.

"Winged Kitt...ens? What's that?" She asked with an confused look on her face when Alekai mentioned them. They diddn't have animals where she was from.

"There it is again! What the heck is a Tetris Alpha???" Laura asked Jian with a bewildered look on her face.

Meanwhile, Calem, was refreshing the page over and over again, wating for a reply. The gravity just stopped and let up, and Calem had to hold on to the computer desk to keep from floating off. Gumball, Gabe and Anna were having a good time without the gravity, while Riku was desprately trying to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground.

Lilli immediately ran over to the panel that said "Ship Systems."
"Okay, here we go..."

They looked around on the menu on the screen. There was a holographic model of the ship, and in each part of the ship were various things that they could toggle on or off. They looked for a safety system, but they couldn't find one....

"Hmmm..."

Lilli checked the rest of the menu.
Yeah, display settings...
change the background? Oh, boy!

They quickly changed the background to a human movie poster. There was a lot of shirtless human dudes and a man in the middle with a very fierce expression.

They also changed the cursor to purple, and they tweaked the sound settings so that whenever they clicked on something, it would play the sound of a windchime. How delightful!

They also changed the hologram of the ship to rainbow, and they were fixing to change the AI's voice to Australian when--

OH MY GOD IT WAS THE SAFETY BUTTON!! They'd been looking for it this whole time and it was right in front of their face! How could they have forgotten?
Quickly Lilli fanned themselves in panic and looked around frantically.

"I-I'm gonna disable the safety!!"
they yelled. "Pray that we don't all die!"

With their eyes closed, Lilli slammed down on the button, and--
wait, was that the sound of an air horn?

"Everything has light, even those whom you perceive as 'bad'. They have lives. They live, they love, they feel, they are full of light." Oeuyia told Laura, smiling gently. "If you visualize white light attracted to you, then you will receive more and more wonderful energy."
"Winged kittens are kittens with wings!" Aelkai exclaimed unhelpfully, but then transformed into a little white kitten with brown wings to demonstrate.
"The Tetra-Alpha Dimension is a particular dimension from our world." Ia explained, floating upside-down over Laura's head.

"Yeah, but what if they've done terrible things? Look, I'll use an, um, acquaintance of mine as an example. He wanted to completely blow my home world apart, because that was his twisted vision for a perfect world. I'd say that's pretty bad, and as far as I know, all he did before that was invent these things and run the server that they were on." She gestured towards her sparkly pink Holo Caster. She leaned in, hoping Calem couldn't hear her, as this was kind of a toutchy subject. "And in contrast to someole like Calem, who went back to rescue me after we foiled this guy's plans and I passed out from exhaustion. He saw all those Team Flare minions being crushed to death by the the tunnel collapsing and he ended up getting a head injury from all of that too... If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here today..." Laura looked at Calem with a smile, though he diddn't notice because he was too busy with the computer. "That's why I still can't let that situation go..." she looked down slightly. At this point, her smile was completely gone.

When Alekai turned into a kitty, she floated over to it, seeming a little cheered up. She cuddled it softly. "Oh my Arceus, you are so cute... wait, where's Alekai?"

She looked up at Jian, with the winged kitten in her arms. "What's it like?"
