Tau Ceti, a yellow dwarf star (spectral class G) just under 12 light-years away. Although superficially similar to our Sun, Tau Ceti's spectrum shows it to be relatively poor in metals; it seems unlikely that the system hosts any rocky planets. No companions have been detected, but using current methodologies, this only rules out brown dwarfs or trans-Jovian gas giants; a planet as "small" as, say, Saturn or Neptune would be undetectable under the current circumstances.

Weirdness. Black holes and their event horizons, stars bigger than our entire solar system, quasars, the Lorentz-Fitzgerald contraction, the Eagle Nebula and its Pillars of Creation, hot Jupiter planets like Bellerophon around 51 Pegasi, neutron stars (and the way the magnetic poles so often seem almost 90 degrees from the rotational poles, creating pulsars), signs of organic materials in free space, the ocean under the ice of Europa...

Simonono, you missed Y.

Yellow G-class stars, like our sun. They are among the most common stars in the universe.
