I can't comment about Charles Mansan as I don't know much about him.

I believe that All religions are dangerous because they brainwash people into believing there's a dumbledore lookalike sitting on a cloud.

some things that are dangerous in mass quantities, in smaller amounts can be therapeutic.

i believe in the near term [within 30 years], that NASA needs to spend more $$$$$$$$$ on actual advanced propulsion systems and AI, and less on human exploration of distant outer space which is totally impractical outside of relatively close objects such as the moon. let humans go through all the trouble only when it is vetted by the robots.

Well, in the near future Virgin Galactic will be offering such human exploration as a package holiday  So I agree, funding should be focused on these systems more instead.

I believe the Olympics in the UK was a bad choice as so much money was spent in preparation, and we will continue to see the consequences as a result.

Ive alwayS thought the concept of having only one name is stupid. I want ten different names. And also, the concept of last names is extremely annoying. Who decided which one came first and last? What if I want to switch them around?

And what the f**k about the whole taking other people names, like hostile takeover of the person's other half of their name out of marriage? And what the hell IS marriage? So, you give people sh*t and walk down a long hallway of people on either side of you who are force-smiling towards this old dude (When This Huge Beautiful Cake Is Directly Behind You!! !) who talks about stuff and then you kiss this guy you "love" and then, like, oh my god. It makes me explode. I mean, Im not married, but. I try to get rid of any friends if I think they are going to get married unless they have high body fat = Great Wedding Cake) so. Yeh yeh.

But yes, the whole name thing reeeallly bugs me. I have a nice name, Julia. But Ive been Jaspen, JJ, PJ, at Starbucks I am Lactivia, annnnd. Yeah. Just stupid. To not have every name known to Cranial Capacity or something.

I remember posting an argument that logically (not morally) supports eugenics.

as far as eugenics goes, i support maximizing the resources which can help make more gifted people, as this world needs more gifted people to solve its seemingly accumulating intractible problems. but at the same time, those on the opposite end of the cognitive/capability spectrum must not be forgotten. we spend too damned much on prisons and not enough for our genetic seed capital hence our collective future.

i believe laughing gas should be just as acceptable a recreational drug, as is alcohol and caffeine.

I've had some really powerful experiences in the dentist's chair. 8)

I'm of the opinion that if people throw trash along the street, I should have the right to follow them home and throw it back at them.

be CAREFUL! [choose your battles more carefully].

i believe that there needs to be a revival of home organs, that more people should be encouraged to play them and enjoy them.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks that, I found The Godfather to be very slow and boring for the most part. Although I do disagree to the part about TV series as they are a number of current shows I enjoy.

I think the modern day film industry focus too much on over the top CGI and special effects opposed to an actual plot.

You are right. Lars von Trier should have been the ruler of the world and fixed that.

I believe that text is more powerful than something that is visual.

I prefer audio but both of the other can be powerful. It all depends on what makes you cringe.

Haha, maybe it's an orange that's just waiting to burst open. Yes.

I believe that it's inhumane to make students stand up in front of the class and do presentations. Especially people with really bad social anxiety and then they're supposed to pay attention to the other ones? How are you supposed to pay attention when all you're worried about is standing up there doing your own presentation?

i agree, there need to be an "equalizer" in the form of letting people do automated powerpoint presentations or prerecorded videos.

i think there needs to be a national birthday suit day, where everybody goes around in their birthday suits.
