Krystal took a deep sigh and folded her arms. "Al Bhed, are we? I can't understand the Al Bhed language I'm afraid," She looked a Gyarick and sighed again. "I don't know who or what you are, but please... Leave me alone. I have things to do, like finding my stupid sister..." Krystal got annoyed just thinking about her younger sister, Kalli.

"I said that you've been through hell and back. I know the feeling. People I loved were murdered by fanatics. Some people say Yevon, others say the Guado acting in Yevon's name. But it was all politics and religion and hate. You lost a sister? I lost all of my family except my youngest brother. 4 siblings, both of my parents, and my grandmother, who wouldn't have been able to harm those pycdyntc in any way."

"Look, I am trying to help this world get some stability and rest. New Yevon, the Youth League and the Machine Faction are supposed to be working together now, but they still have factions infighting. We can't always rely on Yuna and her former guardians, or the Gullwings. And I can tell. You know that."

Suddenly a thought struck him.

"What did happen to your sister? Sin? Those damned factions?"

Krystal sat down on the ground, "She said she was going to Luca or something, and she'll be back in a week. Yeah right, it's been two weeks now! Still, I expected her to do this..." She sighed a bit. "Kalli is a great sister and all, but she can't sit still. She's always going off to places, doing her own thing..." Krystal looked up at Gyarick. "Don't mention that name to me... I hate Sin more than my own father." Tears started to fall from her eyes as she sighed again.

Krystal grabbed her sword and stood up. "You sure you want to see what I can do?" She was feeling much better now, and had a slight grin on her face. She lifted her sword into the air, and slammed it down with so much force, the whole village shook! The fiends disintergrated one by one into pyreflies. Krystal just smiled. "I haven't done that for ages! The last time I did that was when I was fighting my father..."

Sindri was unharmed by the lava, and had protected himself just in time. He fled into the thick forest, before the Dragun saw him. He could destroy the Dragun, but he was disorientated and shocked by the unexpected appearance, so he avoided the fighting. "damn, Draguns are so melodramatic, but so am I."

The Draguns had long been a thorn in Sindri's side. They had sent at least 100 of their warriors to try and stop him, who had all perished by him, or with a few, turned into something else entirely. Pathetic fools. The paladins who had him cornered were a much more worthy threat.

The Black Mage headed towards the village he had stayed at, he was hungry.

Ultaro pulled the burning blade out of the lava as it was red hot, scanned the area and went after the railgun toting freak, but first he quenched the inferno. The TNT didn't affect him he simply absorbed the blast, adding its strength to his own. As Cid approached Ultaro grabbed his lance, setting it on fire, and threw Cid a few miles away. Ultaro then pulled out a rifle aimed for Gyarick and fired. He missed, but the rifle Ultaro was using had explosive rounds and the shockwave knocked Gyarick to the ground. Ultaro fired at a tree, knocking it to the ground right on top of Gyarick, trapping him. Ultaro slowly walked to the trapped Gyarick, Gyarick fired his railgun but the round burst into flames, and the flames didn't affect Ultaro the least bit. When he reaches Gyarick he raises his blade and says, "Give me one good reason I shouldn't make you a permanent part of the landscape!"

Sindri had reached the outskirts of the village, after a 20 minute walk, in the shadow of the trees. He heard someone running and coming closer from behind him. He ran behind a bush, and tried to avoid the approaching passer by. It sounded like this person was running very fast, from whatever he had walked away from.... They came into sight, running for their life... that girl who saw him! The girl looked in his stopped suddenly, almost tripping up, and drew a large shining sword.

"We meet again." Sindri remarked from the shadows.

"You again..." Krystal was starting to get annoyed now. She had her sword held over her shoulder, ready to strike. "I swear, there's something up with you..." Krystal took a deep sigh and sat down again. "Something bad is going to happen, I can feel it..."

"Yes, what were you doing outside those ruins, might I ask?" Sindri asked for the second time.
He put his left hand on bloodbane's handle, and stood firmly. "What is up with me concerns no-one. I am a Black Mage, and a very powerful one at that."

Krystal still didn't answer Sindri's question. "Just leave me alone, I'm not in a good mood..."

"Wrong answer, tell me what you were doing there or you will fear my wrath!! !!"

Sindri stripped Krystal of her sword, and broke it into two.

Krystal was even angrier now! "Bastard! I don't have to tell you anything!"

Quatermass looked at the pissed-off creature and rolled away, starting to run. He needed to warn someone about this creature.

He yelped one of his favourite litanies in Al Bhed:

"Ur cred, E's kuehk du tea!! !"

Which in a more ancient tongue may have been rendered such:

"Stercus, stercus, stercus, morituri sum!! !"

He whizzed by the Dark Knight and a Black Mage she was being huffy about. He paused long enough for a brief bit of advice:

"Nih mega ramm!! !"

Translated: "Run like hell!! !"
