How did I miss this thread? A very kind, compassionate, funny, and intelligent woman, CC. She's one of the people who make WP a site I enjoy visiting.

Yes CC, it must be your avatar. I tend to identify people with their avatars or occassionally with other random pictures they happen to post, even landscapes. And now that you mentioned, your signature actually reveals you're female. -- As for Booyakasha, her previous laughing coyote avatar looked somewhat masculine in my eyes.

I've only just begun to spend time on WP, but would like to say, that I enjoyed playing 'word' games in the same threads with you, Campin' Cat, in the 'Off The Wall: Games' forum. And, your kindness stood out to me, when I messed up, on a couple of things.

I am often told that I "over-use commas" - and, like you, there have been periods of time, when I would use a comma with each breath I took. I have mellowed out, a lot, in recent years, in terms of my extensive use of commas. I can't say that I am one, to use a lot of punctuation in general, per se, although, I do like to use it, appropriately. I wanted to quote you, however, I am presently typing on my phone, and I have made a mess of "quoting" unless I do it from my computer.

I shall remember you like flowers in posts that you receive. I like the wax flowers that envirozentinel gave to you.

If scientists are really going to try to extract DNA from a frozen mammoth to restart the species, perhaps they could do the same with Saber-Tooth Tigers.......then we could give Campin Cat a kitten (or cub?)

Frankly, Aunt Blabby's cat looks like he could be real trouble if he wanted to!
