I've been feeling perturbed lately, so chose my avatar to kind of show that.

I'll probably go back to the Great Horned Owl avatar though. In fact I think I found one I can use...

My avatar depicts one of my favorite characters, Shiba Kuukaku. She can be found in the Bleach manga and anime. Intelligent, eccentric, and rather intolerant of other people's BS.

I picked my current avatar because Capt. Miller is my favorite character in the movie Event Horizon and I've currently re-fixated on that film again.

Both. Most of my avatars have been just nice pictures. But this one I have right now (October 2011) does quite describe my own confusion with myself and with why I act the way I do, who am I, what are true original parts of me and what are artificial ones... :?
The avatar is related to the now defunct band Unfinished Thought, still one of my favorites. A shame they no longer make music, they were one of the few artists with lyrics I actually liked (the words in my signature are from a song of theirs, too - the Etenal Shade Theory [Part 1]). I probably took the picture somewhere from their old website. Their website has been just 3 different pages for a long time now. The original picture;
