You definitely don't need to lose weight.
In fact, you need to gain some weight to ensure you're healthy.
So go ahead and pig out!

I am at 28 on BMI

I have quite a muscular build though. Despite that I still need to lost about 20 pounds to reach my own ideal weight (which would still be considered overweight by that scale)

You Are Somewhat Overweight

Your BMI is 26.1 - a healthy BMI falls between 18.5 and 25

While you aren't obese, you could use to lose a few pounds (unless you're very muscular).
Your BMI puts you at a slightly higher risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers.
Don't starve yourself or crash diet. See a doctor to learn how to lose weight safely.

Some of my old pants are too lose and I don't want to use a belt. :rabbit:

23.2

Congratulations, you are the perfect weight for your height.
Even though you may not be entirely happy with your weight, you are healthy.
So gain or lose a few pounds if you want, but don't go too crazy!

Don't lose any weight. You already are quite slender.
You could even gain a few pounds if you wanted.
Indulge yourself every once and a while!

---Funny, cuz I'm actually quite underweight at 6'2" and 150lbs, 180lbs is my target weight according to everyone else I've spoken to. Granted I'm less than 1 BMI point from their "underweight", and I do have a small amount of chub - enough so my ribs don't show normally...

You've been doing well losing weight, so don't expect yourself to be a perfect weight right away. Take it one day at a time!
