You got 17 out of 20 correct

I looked at the eyes each time. I know this is a big factor as I used to pactise doing the 'real' crinkly eye smiles when I was a teenager. :D

I got 9... a perfectly reasonable score only -1 from the average if I were to guess them all.

I don't know what the 19 or 18 guys did. But I couldn't figure out which were genuine and which were false. They all looked the same to me. In the end I followed the reasoning of: if the lips were in the shape of a smile before and after the supposed "smile" I went with genuine. If it came from a "default face" where the lips were a straignt line. I went with false.

Does that seem sane?

That was my method, too.

12 of 20 correct. Better than expected.

I got 19/20 and was very surprised... as I am known for not reading body language well. I got my NT partner to do it and he got 14/20, he can't believe I beat him  So I have been rubbing it in ;)

I picked the fake smiles by looking at their eyes. If their eyes did not change then I marked them as fake smiles.

I got 16 out of 20 correct. I thought I would do better than that actually because I've read a lot about telling the difference between real and fake smiles (with my interest in psychology), but obviously I haven't been paying attention to it in real life.
