Actually, I think the longest city name is "Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit," also known as Bangkok, Thailand.

I just looked on the internet at world record discussions and found a discussion forum of people arguing which of the two places above has the longest name. They argue such things as "not being one word," and "they did it only as a gimmick," etc.

The oldest mountain range are the Ozark mountains, but they're so old they aren't really mountains any more.
