My mom thinks of Vermont when she thinks of maple syrup. A LONG time ago(maybe when she was a kid or teen) she read some book about Vermont & maple syrup. After I moved to Vermont, whenever my parents come up here(which is about 1ce a year) my parents go to some farm that makes it & sells maple syrup. My parents buy a bit for themselves & a lot to give away to various friends & relatives.
