Though doing that disrupts an ability to know what a post actually says.

Rubbish! (Sorry, I couldn't find a civil synonym.) You will find all my scribblings this awkward and painstaking anyway.

I think this compositional constraint should apply to all forums on this particular umm... www thing. Thus limiting casual and poorly thought-out posting.

Hurrah! Finally I find my calling! And you finish umm... third. :)

You might not know about a book using this particular constraint - "A Void" - it's in Français, with a translation for us Brits known as "A Vanishing".

Hmm, this topic looks intriguing. Writing a lipogram, particularly a lipogram omitting this fifth and most common symbol of our Roman script, is usually both highly difficult and fun. (For any of you who don't know what a lipogram is, it's what you would call this form of linguistic constraint, in which you forbid a symbol). You will find, if you scan both this paragraph and my following paragraph fastidiously, nary a solitary utilization of this taboo sign.

Now, as this arbitrary limitation significantly limits my vocabulary, I will try to stay short with my post. I think, though, that this is a good way of making a point and discussing how this popular symbol (a symbol which I am now badly wanting) found its way to its position as a vital (and usually gratuitous) part of our catalog of lingual graphics. Did you know that it is thought that this symbol has its origins long ago in North Africa, amongst shifting Saharan sands? A particular old civilization known for its pyramids and mummification-- I trust you know to which civilization I am alluding-- would draw glyphs as its primary notation. A glyph of a human with its arms in an upward position is thought of as a suppositional starting point of our most banal Latin non-consonant.

A worthy inaugural post containing apropos historical information - I bow to you.

As for this particular country that has bound you to adopt such a circumlocutory form, I fancy that I can assist you. I was struck by a thought which is surprisingly harmonious in light of your allusion to our glyphs' primordial origins. I am talking about an archaic symbol "ash" (with roots in Anglo Saxon script, but still known in today's orthography) which is actually a traditional substitutional option for that awkward country's initial symbol.

Writing in this way is not too difficult. It just calls for a small amount of imagination.

I own many books by Philip K. Dick and Patricia Highsmith, but only two from Thomas M. Disch.

I find that Antarctica is a fascinating topic, and I own various books about it also.

AC/DC is a band from Australia. So is INXS. Midnight Oil, also.

Godzilla fought Anguirus, Ghidorah, Gigan, Rodan, Kamacuras, and Kumonga in Godzilla: Final Wars, and won.

Custodian? Janitor? Not dissimilar or distinct.

You cannot instruct a cat to play football. Try as you might, you will fail, trust my intuition on this.

Psycho is a good horror film, quality from start to finish.

I did fail in my first post in this topic, but I did fix it.

But to shift to an additional topic, it's difficult to strictly know a population of a city, which is not to my full satisfaction.

I don't savor badminton, bicycling, bowling, diving, football, gymnastics, martial arts, rowing, rugby, sailing, softball, surfing, swimming, or polo. But golf! Now that is a sport for m...

Oops! Almost did it again.

I am, right now, doing nothing but loving my music. :) It is actually difficult to do this. I did not think that it would B, but it is. I am also having a talk with my... um... what's a synonym... Buddy. With my buddy.

Would any of you want to CONGA? I'm skillful in this activity, it's a trait I would happily split with my crazy nights out. Though I cry a lot as my lack of charisma shows. This was PastFixations, now it is up to you. I am truly Satan in a mask. Can you say a word again and again or not? I'd want to say a lot but that is unorthodox. It's almost fraud for this to go on, why would it? I don't know, but can you put this down as my thought is fading to black. You could try to crack this but your thoughts won't drag my illustration down as you bow in admiration.

Your mind is fuzzy and you had a drink, Your brain is thick and your boots act smart. Man or Woman, girls or boys? I don't mind at all. Why play Fall Out Boy and not AC/DC, you Daft Punk? Having a good day as I am.

I don't mind sucking crisps but will you bring a carrot to crunch, only I lost two on my way down stairs and tomorrow morning during rush hour I will find it comforting.
