Granted, but you fall and break both of you wrists.

I wish to not be hungry all the time.

Granted, now you will just be crazy
I wish a nice long warm bath.

Granted, but you will not be able to get the temperature just right.

I wish I could un-hear, un-see, and un-read some things.

Granted you forget everything you hear read and see.
I wish to not another crazy night like tonight.

Granted, now everyday for the rest of your life will be dull and boring.

I do wish to forget some things that I see, hear, and read. Not everything! Just some things.

Granted; you now cannot ever again remember your name, your fondest memories and what the colour pink looks like.

I wish I could see the extra colour that birds can see. *Without* becoming a bird. I want to remain a human. This human that *I* am, that is. Just give me the ability to see that colour... nothing more, nothing less. That is to say, *add* this ability to all my other abilities, which I already have; do not strip me of my other abilities, in the process.

Granted, you see what birds see. However, everyone will think you are crazy for seeing colors that they can't see.

I wish life had a pause button.

Yeah, and preferably with a rewind function too

Granted. But ijust like in The Twilight Zone episode it breaks, leaving you stranded in place where you are the only one not frozen.

I wish my finger had healed properly.

Did you break it?

Granted! It healed perfectly, but it was extra painful during the healing process.

I wish I could get over this cold I have.

No, something happened to the sinew so it wouldn’t straighten out. After a while it did, but it doesn’t bend right anymore.


Granted. You’re over it. Too bad you’ll pick up a nastier one tomorrow.


I wish I never felt pain again

Granted! You feel no physical pain, but you will continue to feel emotional pain.

I wish to never feel some of the heartache that I have felt in the past ever again.

I don't even wanna corrupt that...

Granted. You never feel it again, but sometimes you wonder if you have become too indifferent.


I wish to never feel emotional pain either.

Granted! No more emotional pain, but now you're back to feeling physical pain....and to a more severe degree.

I wish to never become indifferent.

Granted. You feel everything too strongly, and with your newfound eidetic memory, you can never forget or get distance either.


I wish to never feel emotional OR physical pain again.

Granted! You feel nothing! You are completely dead inside, and now that you can't feel physical pain, you will have no idea if something is wrong or not.

I wish to sleep well on my day home sick from work.

Granted. You sleep well all day and wake up in the evening. Feeling too rested to sleep anymore, you’ll be all the more tired tomorrow. It'll be a real busy day too.
