The more anime I watch, the more I mentally speak in Japanese. I once almost said 'gomenesai' to someone out loud. When I'm frustrated, I say 'mataku'.

I'm supposed to be over this already...the well of sadness is supposed to be gone...so why...why do I feel so sad?

if you're purposely trying to learn japanese, then that's a pretty good thing IMO. your brain is succumbing to the constant onslaught of the language that it may be experiencing, and rewiring itself appropriately. a very important step on the way to fluency, immersion is key.

or even, replacing the native tongue.

on my end: rented more hebrew movies fro the library today.

i catch myself spewing spanish profanities when i'm really frustrated.

Speaking of languages I managed to complete an entire cryptic crossword in Afrikaans last week! Which isn't too bad considering I don't always even get the English ones finished!

Will try to be less scarce on this forum but have been busy with a writing project for a competition but now that's done hope to get a chance to focus on other stuff a bit.

I was feeling rather depressed yesterday. It was grey and foggy and so I felt miserable.

The weather can have an effect on one. They don't speak of a "ray of sunshine" for nothing...

However, it's been so dry here lately that I tend to prefer overcast to bright blue cloudless sky.

I do hope you're feeling better now.

My mom loves Sudoku. I love all things to do with words - cryptic crosswords, anagrams, Scrabble, writing, you name it. I'm not allergic to numbers but easily overdose on them...
