(Is the Digimon egg Angewomon's baby? Is Karion a Digimon?? I don't understand.)

"Uhh.. please?" Lilli asked timidly.

"The Angewomon we encountered in the Digital World and the Angewomon here with us today are not the same Digimon. The Angewomon we encountered was reborn, and I never saw her again. The Angewomon right in front of us used to be the corrupt Ophanimon." Oeuyia explained in a rush, resulting in Angewomon glaring at her in genuine anger [as much a helmeted angel can glare].

(I really wanna do a 'back on earth' type of thing, but I really love the idea for this one (it's kinda dark though...) but I feel like I've done too many and we're in the middle of this..)

Laura abruptly turned her head towards Angewomon. "Oh... okay..." she looked dissapointed. She was perched on a computer desk, swinging her legs from side to side in the paired chair.

Angwomon's glare sunk into her. "S-Stop... I don't wanna see her get any more mad at us." She nervously scolded Lilli. Riku, meanwhile, was squinting at Kairion, trying to make sense of her.

"Oh. Okay." Lilli said. They reached out to give Angewomon a fist-bump. "Nice to meetcha."

Angewomon looked briefly startled by Lilli's gesture, but a tiny smile flashed across her face. "I am still trying to heal from everything I did." She absently looked at her hands as if wanting to sweep her actions away. "But I am here now, so I am content with that."

"I understand that." Kiki said. There was a brief haunted look in their eyes.
"Sometimes it's... it's hard to forget the past."
They grinned. "But yeah, I agree with you. There's no way to move forward but by living in the present, right?"

"Move forward... by living in the present?" Calem asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Paradoxes are so wonderful." Oeuyia grinned dreamily.

Calem groaned and lolled his head back at Oeuyia's frustration-inducing crypticness. "How can one being be so cryptic?" He asked nobody in particular.

Kiki huffed. "That's not a paradox, actually. You move forward in relation to the past-- make progress, move on from it, by living in the present." they said.
"By moving forward, I mean you continue to be conscious of now and continue to change, rather than being stuck with your mind in the past while everything changes around you."

They grinned. "Get my drift?"

Calem nodded, and looked to the side distantly. "Things... defintely have gotten better, but still..." Calem paused. "The memmories won't go away..."

"They don't." Kiki said.

At that moment, Gristle stepped into the room. "Uh, hey guys." he said shyly. "What's goin' on?"

Kiki turned about merrily in their swivel chair. "Ah, just havin' a group therapy session." they mused, kicking their feet off one of the desks as they spun around.
"How 'bout choo, Cindy Lou?"'

"Uh, Jason or whatever his name is asked me to come in here and check on you 'cause it's been, like, thirty minutes. And, uh, they really need to get going."

Kiki looked surprised. "Oh. Well, uh, okay." They stood up. "What time is it?"

"Ten-thirty Kalos time," Lilli chimed.

"Yikes. Welp..." They helped Lilli get up. "...What say you all we get goin'?"

They looked at Oeuyia and co.
"Do you all know where you'll be goin' after this?"

"Uh, also someone left a fruit salad so I guess we can have it?" Gristle cluelessly held up a large bowl filled with bananas and watermelon. "It says it's addressed to a Shinohara, but I don't know who Shinohara is..."

Laura nearly blew her hat when Kiki said group therapy session, mentally smacking herself in the head for leading them down that road, again.

"The guy's nane is Mason, Mike's Litten's name is Jason." Laua corrected. She was, contrary to what one might think, very good with remembering names.

"Ugh..." Laura whined. "How long have we been gone?" She asked, seeming verry worried. "Well, that's enough procrastinating. We need to get our petticoats in gear and go!" She said, standing up and completely ignoring the fruit.

"What is a petticoat? Is it something your eat?" Oeuyia asked serenely while absently eating a banana and sharing bits of it with Karion.
"Could I eat human food, I wonder?" Angewomon mused, holding a piece of banana in her hand as if mystified by the concept.

Laura gritted her teeth in annoyance. "It's something that you wear that makes your dress look pouffier. A simple necissity for Sweet Lolis such as myself." She said with a sweet smile and a flick of one of her pigtails.

"You can still be sweet and do what you have to do to protect people," Guinan commented. "Your sylveon is like that, right?" A powerhouse?"

Guinan listened to the story about the digimon in silence, an expression of concern crossing her face when Oeuyia told the group that the little girl had been traumatized. She looked at Oeuyia and Angewomon in surprise as the story progressed. She chuckled at Lily's simple fist bump. The gesture made sense to Guinan as a way to move on from the past. "Stories of those who turn away from corruption bring hope to the world," Guinan said.

(OOC: I'm a bit confused. Do all our characters need to still take the escape pods back to the station? They would have needed to follow Mike and Mason to do that. Where/when does this whole scene take place where they're chatting and sharing stories, perched on computer desks? I imagine they'd all be quite tired and hungry and want to get back to the space station, and then ultimately to Earth, so maybe we insert those scenes and move this one later in the timeline, maybe even to Earth?)
