I wish the roads were less icy

Granted, the roads a just ever so slightly less icy. The sidewalks though are extra icy.

I wish for a cup of hot cocoa at the perfect temperature.

Granted, you have hot cocoa at just the right temperature. Unfortunately it's so watered out, its taste is little more than warm water. So sad!

I wish winter was over

Granted! It is the first day of Spring, but someone forget to tell the weather it was Spring. The winter weather continues on till summer.

I wish I was off work this weekend. I'm tired.

Granted, you're off work. But your neighbor falls seriously ill and needs to go to hospital. She is a single mom without family or friends, so guess who has to look after her seven hyperactive, vexing, noisy, lively children. Have fun with that.

Granted, but let's face it, she was never one for a dull life, so instead of seven children, she now is the 'life' of the street. Her home is always in party mode and there is so much noise 24/7 it drives everyone nuts. In addition there are the drug dealers who flock to her parties. There goes the neighborhood!

I wish there were no children living here.

Granted! Those children are replaced by adults you can't stand.

Granted, you have a studio. In Paris.

Granted, but your apartment is completely overrun by cats. I know how much you love cats.

Granted, but those cute little goslings have avian flu.

Granted! They are at your neighbors apartment. Your neighbor had 99 cats, and their urine and feces sink up the whole building. Your neighbor is also a hoarder.

I wish cats were banned as pets in Norway.

Granted! Cats as pets are banned in Norway, but now there are a bunch of cats running all over your city. They're feral now, and cause all sorts of problems.

I wish cats wouldn't be banned as in Norway or anywhere else. Cats are so under-appreciated.
