Granted, but since I don't know what a pavlova is, when I go to the wish store to buy it for you, I end up getting the wrong thing. Sorry. I should have used Google.

Already you can hear hoots and laughter in the street as the mob builds, your neighbors and acquaintances suffused with transcendent joy as they run, gleefully smashing windows, setting fires, and pelting each other with debris. As they begin to pound on your door, you smile in anticipation, and turn the handle...

As for me, I'd say happiness is overrated. I wish rationality were the norm.

Granted, everyone is now rational...but that means kids are now bored because they can no longer wish on stars, put teeth under their pillow for tooth fairy, or play pretend.

I wish that there was something good to watch on TV tonight.
