Granted, but then they aren't seen as so beautiful because they are now more common than brown eyes.

Granted, your eyes are brighter. In fact they’re every bit as bright as you. Eyes with a mind of their own is not a good idea. They decide what to look at, where to look, what expression to give etc. And they just have such an attitude!

I wish a new turtle species would be discovered living freely and natively in Norway.

Granted, but the color of this turtle species is your least favorite.

Granted, your eyes aren’t brighter than you, and they have no mind of their own. That makes them somewhat smart but lacking a mind of their own… And you’re still not in charge of them. Was that better? Really? And on top of that they look dull.

I wish to paint those pink turtles!

Granted. You cover them in oil based paint. They all die. Wouldn't you rather there be pink turtles?

I wish I to remain in control of my eyes.

Granted! You will never get lotion in your eyes, but you will get nail polish remover in them. OUCH!

Granted, they're longer, thicker and blacker, but you only have 2 lashes on each eye.

Grr... I wish to neither get nail polish nor nail polish remover in my eyes.

Granted! You get nothing in your eyes because you have two glass ones.

I wish for 2014 to be better than 2013, and that no one is taken from us before their time.

I wish for 2014 to be without losses, accidents and illnesses, and to come with a cure for various diseases and AS, and a change in certain laws.

Granted, but that's so much to wish for the entire karma of the universe is drained and the sun explodes.

I wish for a Tonka truck for Christmas.

Granted, but you must be visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past so you can travel back in time to when you were a child. The Ghost of Christmas Past made you relive some painful childhood memories.

I wish to not get sick. Everyone in my house is sick right now.

Granted, you won’t get sick now, but you have to play nurse. When everyone else is well again you’ll get sick, but they’ll be going to work then so you’ll have to manage on your own most of the time with your first bout of pneumonia and trust me on this, pneumonia drains you.

I wish I didn’t end up with two glass eyes.

Granted! There is nothing there but empty sockets.

I wish to never get pneumonia, or any other illnesses affecting the lungs.
